The wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died on Thursday at the age of 71, and another WWE icon paid tribute to one of his heroes.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted on social networks an emotional ode to the fighter “The Immortal”, whom he called “a hero of childhood.”
“In 1984, I gave you your ‘Hulkster’ headband, in Madison Square Garden’s locker room – he was the lucky child [that] He caught him when you threw it into the crowd. You were fighting ‘Mr Wonderful’, Paul Orndorff that night at the main event, “Johnson recalled.

“You were shocked and very happy after the game because you told me that this was your last headband and if it weren’t for me, you would not have to do that time again.”
Johnson then recalled his legendary game at Rogers Center in Wrestlemania X8, a match that Johnson said “it was deciding who would go to history, as the best of all time.” It is still one of the best games of all time and one that has defined the history of wrestling.
The publication presented the fight on a small television, reminiscent of that of the late 90s and early 2000s.
