Islamabad:
The Federal Minister of Communications, Aleem Khan, has ordered the National Highway Authority (NHA) to remain alert in view of the new spell of the expected monsoon and continuous efforts to help.
The president of the NHA has issued new instructions, ordering all the officers to leave their offices and remain in the field, maintaining close and constant monitoring of the situation, said a press release.
He added that all the sheets for officers and personnel have been officially canceled.
The president instructed that all officers must have their emergency response plans ready, and in the case of any unforeseen situation, these plans must be implemented immediately without delay.
