The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell praised the New York Didarul Islam police officer in a memorandum to employees who were in the building where an crazy armed man killed four and wounded others in a shooting.
Goodell said in the memorandum, obtained by Pak Gazette Digital, that an NFL employee was “seriously injured” but in stable conditions. He mentioned Islam and thanked him for sacrificing his life to save others.

“We are deeply grateful to the law agents who responded to this threat quickly and decisively and the Islam officer, who gave his life to protect others,” said the memorandum.
The 36 -year -old had been in force for four years before being killed Monday night. She was a married father of two young children, and her wife is pregnant with her third son, said the New York police commissioner Jessica Tisch.
The Islam, an immigrant from Bangladesh that was assigned to the New York Police enclosure in the Bronx, was one of the two uniformed officers in the height of Park Avenue when the shooting occurred.

Both officers worked there as part of the paid details program, which allows companies to hire uniformed officers as additional security, Tisch said.
New York Police said Islam “represented the best of our department.”
“He was protecting the New Yorkers from danger when his life was tragically interrupted today,” added the New York Police. “We join prayer during this time of incomprehensible pain. We will always honor its legacy.”
