There was a terrifying moment in Baltimore on Tuesday night when George Springer was hit in the helmet with a fast 96 mph ball.
The Toronto Blue Jays gardener was in the batting box at the top of the ninth with the two outs of a victory.
Kade Strowd was the coup for Toronto, but in the first Springer launch he saw from the right, drilled it.

Strowd was visibly annoying, and Springer lay on earth for a while while the staff attended him. Springer left the field with the help of the coaches.
The manager of the Balejos, John Schneider, hinted that the situation could have been much worse.
“He put it on his shoulder, then a helmet, that … fortunately, he could also turn a little,” Schneider told journalists after the game.

Schneider said Springer was being evaluated at the time of media availability. He was not in the initial alignment for the first game of his double poster of the night of the day on Wednesday.
The Blue Jays recently placed Alejandro Kirk on the seven -day brain shock injured list.
Toronto has an advantage of 5.5 games about the New York Yankees in East Al, while they continue their hot streak, and the season of the bombers continues apparently hiding.

Springer has resurfaced this season in Toronto, since his batting average of .291 is the highest since he hit .292 in Houston in 2019. Its percentage based on .383 is also the highest since then, and is already driven in more races (57) this season than last year (56). It is also a homer less than its total of 19 of the 2-24 campaign.
