LAHORE:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Tuesday that every time the president of the United States, Donald Trump, talks about stopping the Pakistan-Indian war, the ‘wounds’ of the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi, reopens’.
“The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has repeatedly stated that we stopped the war. When the president of the United States says we stopped the Pakistan-Indian war, Modi’s wounds reopens,” he told Pak Business Express and the recently improved passenger facilities at the Lahore railway station.
During his speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz also paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for his resistance in the four -day conflict with India, which he described as “short but very dangerous.” He praised the technical superiority of the army, the internal innovations of the Air Force and the use of the army of missiles to Fatah.
“India believed that Pakistan could only trust nuclear deterrence, but conventional war supremacy has destroyed that myth,” he said, reaffirming his commitment to the security of the nation. He added that our nuclear assets are national security guarantors, and the enemy does not dare to look at us with an evil eye.
