The Federal Government has appointed Secretary Education Nadeem Mahbub as an interim president of the Higher Education Commission since the term of Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed ended.
The Ministry of Education has issued an official notification of the appointment that specifies that the appointment of Nadeem Mahbub will be for three months or even the appointment of a permanent president of HEC.
Nadeem Mahbub is also a member of the Hran Commission and, on this basis, the prime minister appointed him as the interim president under subcllaus 3 of Section 8 of the HEC Law. According to the sources, the former president of Hara made several appointments and transfers yesterday. MAHBUB will assume the responsibilities of the President Hor today together with the education of the secretary.
