The Milwaukee Brewers, owners of the best league record that entered Wednesday, lead the central of the National League for 8.5 games about the Reds. However, Cincinnati is only three games from a wildcard.
There is more than enough time for the reds to get one of the three wild card slots in the National League. They have not arrived at the playoffs since the 2020 season, where they lost in the best round of bunned.
