The Philadelphia Philis went big and landed to the twins of the Minnesota Jhoan Duran in a strong movement before the MLB trade deadline, according to multiple reports.
Philadelphia was looking for a high leverage reliever, and with the twins in full -sale mode, they launched for veteran Duran, who has 16 salvages for twins in 49 games this year.
According to the reports, the Philis are sending two of their best perspectives, the law Mick Abel and the receptor Eduardo Tait, to the twins as the quid of the trade, according to USA Today.

Duran was one of the greatest commercial objectives this summer given the posture of the twins and how valuable it is for a franchise that tries to make an impulse from the World Series.
The Philis needed the help of Bullpen, and Dave Dombrowski unloaded coveted prospects to ensure that the team had one of the best closures of the game on their side for the rest of the year.

Duran, with a quick triple digit ball and one of the best divisors throughout baseball, has launched to an effectiveness of 2.47 during his career, which includes 74 rescues more than 83 opportunities in the last four combined seasons.

Duran’s production is worthy of some large commercial pieces, but is also the fact that it is under the control of the team until season 2028. Then, this agreement helps now and for the next two Filis campaigns.
Philadelphia has been looking for that trip back to the World Series, which arrived for the last time in 2022 when they lost to the Houston stars in six games.
They arrived at the NLCS in 2023, but lost game 7 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Then, in 2024, the Philis could not handle the New York Mets, losing in four games in the division series.

The Philis have the bats and began to launch to run, and their bullpen has just obtained a great improvement to help face a glove of the National League teams in October.
