The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, praised the engineers and technical teams of Supparco and its Chinese partners for their “exemplary cooperation and unwavering commitment.”
“This achievement reaffirms the position of Pakistan in the community of space nations,” said foreigners’ statement.
The authorities say that the satellite will also improve early warning systems and help respond to environmental risks more effectively.
The Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, also congratulated the Nation for the successful launch, qualifying it as “another proud moment” for the country.
