Bronny James still faces health effects 2 years after cardiac arrest

A little over two years ago, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing at the USC.

He returned to the Court about five months later and managed to be selected 55ยบ in general by the Los Angeles Lakers last summer and had time on the NBA floor.

“I angry a little more easily. Which is a bit strange, but I think he got a little with my immune system. So I would have moments when I have to sit down, and that conditioning that I am working simply disappears in that week of being out,” James to ESPN told ESPN recently.

James showed that he was not ready for the NBA last season, averaging 2.3 points at 31.3% of shots in 27 games. However, in the G-League, he put 21.9 points with 44.3% of shots, which was far from the 4.8 points per game he averaged in his only season at the USC.

However, Chief coach JJ Redick thinks that if he continues to work on his conditioning, “he has the opportunity to be a really fantastic player in the NBA.”

And to reach the next level for him, it is cardiovascular fitness …”, Redick told The Outlet. “I understand that there is a story there of a really scary thing that had to live, and I think it is difficult to overcome certain points for him, but he will get there. During the summer league this year, James averaged 14.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
