The Chicago Bears Field Marshal, Caleb Williams, is entering a second critical season, but feels no pressure.

Williams, 23, led the Bears to a 4-2 start before losing their next 10 games.

The loser streak led the team to say goodbye to chief coach Matt Eberflus with five remaining games in the season. Eberflus’s dismissal was the first time the Bears fired a chief coach in the middle of the season.

The team hired Ben Johnson, who had been the offensive coordinator of the high power offensive of the Detroit Lions since 2022, to be his chief coach. The Bears hired Johnson, a coach of offensive mentality, to help unlock the Williams potential.

Williams said he wants to become the first field of the Bears Campo to launch more than 4,000 yards in a season and complete 70% of his passes this season. However, the general selection 2024 No. 1 does not feel any pressure to achieve those objectives.

“The pressure is not a thing for me,” Williams said in “Waddle & Silvy” of ESPN 1000.

“I don’t think about it.

“I know we didn’t win as many games as we wanted last year, but I wasn’t 20 (TouchDowns) and 20 interceptions and things like that. So, you know, take it for what you want, but there is no pressure prevalence; the pressure is a privilege, but you know the situation I am in. I don’t think I have pressure.”

Despite the Bears’s struggles last season, Williams’s work has given the Bears fans the hope that it can be the field marshal of the franchise for which they have desperately yearn for.

Although he did not achieve his goals last season, Williams does not feel the pressure to achieve his new goals for this season.
