  • They requested visa at the High Commission of Pakistan in London.
  • Chaudhry asks Aleema why they need Visa if they have Nicops.
  • PTI has said that there is no doubt about the visit of Khan’s son.

The children of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, expect the approval of the Ministry of Interior, said his sister, Aleema Khan, while planning to visit the country.

“A few days ago, Suleiman [Khan] and Kasim [Khan] He requested his visas with the high commission of Pakistan in London, “Aleema, who had previously announced the duo’s plan to visit Pakistan, in a publication about X.

“The ambassador has suggested that he is waiting for the approval of the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad,” he added.

The Minister of State, Talal Chaudhry, responded quickly, questioning the previous statement of Aleem that Khan’s children had national identity cards for Pakistani abroad, and if so, why would they need visas?

“You previously stated that children have Nicops. If that is true, they do not require visas to enter Pakistan,” Chaudhry said in an X post.

“If you need visas, that means they are not ‘national Pakistani.’ What is the real truth behind everything?” asked.

This comes immediately after the reports that Khan had prohibited his children, who resided in the United Kingdom, traveling to Pakistan and participating in any political activity.

However, shortly after these reports arose, the party begged them, stating that there is no doubt that Suleman (28) and Kasim (26) would visit Pakistan for their father.

The 71-year-old Cricket player became a politician has been behind bars since August 2023 after he was hired in multiple cases ranging from corruption to terrorism from his expulsion of power through the motion of non-confile opposition in April 2022.

PTI spokesman Sheikh Waqas Akram, in his statements, said his arrival date has not been determined, but there is no “doubt” that they are arriving.

The children of the former prime minister were previously at the United States meeting to the country’s legislators, according to reports, press to press for the release of his father, before his expected visit to Pakistan before the protest of August 5.

Kasim caught attention to his father’s imprisonment for the first time publicly in May. Talking to X in June, he expressed concern about Imran’s condition in jail.

He wrote: “My father, former prime minister Imran Khan, has now spent more than 700 days in prison, held in lone confinement. He is denied access to his lawyers, they are not allowed to visit his family, complete Law, and democracy and rate are rejected justice.
