John Krasinski has announced the third installment of A quiet place Reaching large screens next summer.
The 45 -year -old actor and director, who created and led the original 2018 and his sequel 2020, revealed the news on Instagram with a cryptic image that simply said “III” and “7.9.27”.
Paramount Pictures, the study behind the franchise, also confirmed the launch, but maintained more details of the plot and launch in the wraps.
The study had initially announced in 2022 that a third installment would arrive in 2025. The project faced a delay as the approach changed to the recent prequel, A quiet place: day onestarring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. Michael Sarnoski joined the franchise as a writer and director.
He A quiet place Saga began with Krasinski starring his wife, Emily Blunt, such as Abbott’s resilient parents who try to survive in a world invaded by sound -sensitive alien predators.
Krasinski and Blunt, who married in 2010 and share daughters Violet and Hazel, admitted in a previous interview that they were initially “really nervous” about working together on the screen for the first time.
“The truth is that she is the best collaborator I have worked with,” Krasinski said Entertainment tonight in 2021. “I was impressed and amazed,” he added.
