  • PTI is in an increasingly precarious situation amid convictions.

  • Khan is still inflexible, open only to talk to the establishment.

Islamabad: The persistent rejection of the founder of Pakistan of Pakistan, Imran Khan, from Pakistan, Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), to allow political dialogue with the Government is now being seen by many within their own party as an important cause behind the deep crises that has achieved scores of the leaders and workers of PTIs higher, with more imminent vegetations.

With the convictions related to May 9 of the leaders and workers of PTI by the anti -terrorist courts that win impulse, the party is in an increasingly precarious situation.

Recently, many main leaders of the PTI, including opposition leaders in the Houses of Parliament and the Punjab Assembly, several unconditional MNA, MPA and party matches, have been sentenced to 10 years in prison in the cases of May 9. In the next few days, more condemnations of parliamentarians, leaders and workers of PTI are expected.

These prayers arrive at a time when many PTI leaders, both convicted and free, have expressed concern about the line of confrontation taken by Khan. Party experts reveal that the upper leaders repeatedly urged Khan to allow dialogue with the government as a means to prevent arrests and disqualifications. However, he rejected all the proposals, insisting that there would be no conversations with the government or coalition parties.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi and four other high -level leaders, already imprisoned for more than two years, had also written an open letter that described dialogue as the only viable path to follow. But Imran Khan ignored his appeal, insisting that a protest movement was the only solution.

In recent weeks, several members of the PTI parliamentary party have expressed alarm on the strategic direction of the party. Some feared that the continuous policy of confrontation, particularly Khan’s attacks against military leadership, would cause more state actions.

During the internal discussions, the upper members warned Khan that their refusal to participate politically could cause massive imprisonments and long -term disqualifications for key figures.

Despite these warnings, Khan remained inflexible, not authorizing the dialogue with the ruling parties and expressing his disposition just to speak with the establishment, an offer that did not receive a response from the military leadership.

Without a political commitment and a growing legal pressure, party leadership continues to face a series of convictions.

With the main condemned leaders, others who face arrest orders and parliamentary ranks that are thinned through disqualifications, PTI now faces a serious dilemma.

Khan strategy for confrontation and rejection of dialogue has already cost the party a lot, and can cost more in the coming weeks, as more decisions are expected in court.

Many within PTI fear that the party can go to political marginalization, with its imprisoned, disqualified or forced underground leadership. It remains to be seen if Khan reconsiders his position, but many of his colleagues are already paying the price for their elections.
