Falling on the Hallmark and Hallark+ channel of August 2, 2025, Providence Falls It is a new series of three -parts films after Cora (Katie Stevens) and Liam (Lachlan Quarmby), two matches matched to try to solve a case of robbery. As the theft becomes much more sinister, Cora does not know that Liam is not a policeman at all, but a lover of a past life sent in time to try to fall in love with his “destiny” in the co -worker Finn (Evan Roderick).
Does it sound familiar? Well, the time travel element should at least. While the main romance could be started directly from any of Hallmark’s relatives, there is another series on the platform that can instantly transport it to another historical timeline: The way home. Starring Andie Macdowell and Chyler Leigh, the program tells the history of the Landry family, who discover that they can travel in time to different points in their shared history jumping in the pond at the end of their garden (like you). Season 4 is expected to be broadcast in early 2026, and go, we have some questions that need to answer.
Ponderers (which are the fans base of the program, obviously), will know a key feature of The way home Time trip implies emerging from a wet body of water, having to go and deal with the historical disasters that await you while they are completely soaked. I flats and lose it, but there is a very similar circumstance in a delivery of Providence FallsAnd the cast admits that the coincident Easter egg was the most “challenging” scene of the group.
Providence Falls’ The most ‘challenging’ scene is an accident the road to Easter egg, and I am living for it

Spoil of Providence Falls forward.
“There is a scene that had a participation with a lake and we were shooting in Vancouver, and it was February, so you can imagine how ice cream was water, and there were some stunts to accompany it,” Stevens tells me about the scene. “So, that was very, very challenging. Although we had the wet suit and things under our disguise, it was still frozen. So that was probably the most difficult, just for that. The scene is actually one of my favorite scenes throughout the series, but it was definitely not so glamorous for the movie.”
You will find the scene in question at the end of part 2 of Providence FallsWhile Cora tries to get away from Marcus once he realizes that he is really working with the wrong side. Marcus pursues him and pulls a pistol to Cora, which leads to a fight next to the water that ends with cora falling into the lake. Fortunately, Finn and Liam arrive just in time, and Liam is heroically immersed to save Cora while losing consciousness.
If this was an episode of The way homeCora would have left the water in its timeline of the 1800 Irish decade, aware that he is traveling in time between two points in history. Instead, Providence Falls Choose overview both deadlines in a montage, with Cora convinced that she is dreaming when she thinks of herself in the past. The act of traveling over time could be more swampy in the new miniseries, but I cannot avoid extracting obvious parallels of how fantasy with reality is combined.
There is another similarity between providence Falls and the way home

This is not the only Easter egg of the Way home I have seen in Providence Fallsalthough. The opening scene is almost identical to the forest where the Landry pond is established, with 1800 and Liam cora even venturing briefly in the water like Kat and Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) could enter The way home. However, this is simply a coincidence, with everything Providence Falls‘Irish scenes that are filmed in … well, Ireland.
“We filmed the first movie, and then we went to Ireland, we filmed all the Irish images for the three films together, and then we went and made films two and three,” adds Stevens. “Then, Ireland almost felt like her own movie. I think the benefit of how we filmed is that our characters are trying to resolve each other, and Cora is having these dreams, but I really cannot make sense of them yet. In real life, we had to look back in our time in Ireland, so we now know what our characters are thinking about the things they are remembering, and we actually film those things in our time. us.
“We filmed in Dublin and Kilruddery Castle, which is where the house of Cora is. And then we shot the castle where the Beckhams married, which was really great.”
