A difficult week for the American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson ended with a close failure of the 200 -meter final on Sunday in the United States athletics championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Only one week ago, Richardson was arrested for a fourth-grade domestic violence for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, speed partner Christian Coleman, at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Richardson was hired in the correctional entity South (Score) in Des Moines, Washington, for more than 18 hours instead of doing what he needed to prepare for the biggest week in athletics throughout the country.

He went to compete in the 100 -meter opening round, but then withdrew from the event. But while Richardson has an automatic offer in the World Championship next month in Tokyo, Japan, as a career defender, did not have the same luxury in 200.
Richardson finished fourth in his heat after running the 200 -meter sprint at 22.56 seconds. The first two finalists of each heat advance, as well as the next three fastest times. Madison Whyte barely beat Richardson after running 22.55 seconds in the same heat.

Richardson, who won the bronze in this event in the 2023 World Championship, was executing his first 200 meters this season.
As for the alleged incident of domestic violence, Richardson is being accused of grabbing Coleman’s backpack, pulling it and putting it on a wall, which was apparently caught in video surveillance.

Richardson seemed to throw something to Coleman, which TSA indicated that they may have been headphones, according to Associated Press.
“They told me that Coleman didn’t want to participate in the investigation and declined to be a victim,” he wrote an officer in his police report.
This is the second incident of Richardson’s known public airport after he was previously expelled from a plane in January 2023 after a dispute with a hostess that, according to her, spoke with her disrespectful.
The 25 -year -old was also a global news after positive for cannabis before the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, where she accepted a one -month suspension of the United States anti -doping agency, which makes it inevable to run in the 100 -meter race. Nor was it selected for the 4×100 meters relay team, which delayed its Olympic debut until last year in Paris.

Richardson won the 100 -meter race in Budapest in the 2023 World Championship, but ended Silver at the event in Paris. However, he won the gold as part of the 4×100 relay team.
