The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments, according to an official statement.
The two leaders exchanged points of view on a variety of bilateral issues, as well as in current regional and international matters.

Both parties agreed to remain in contact and continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The phone call occurs in the middle of a series of high -level commitments between the two countries.
In June, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, received the head of the Pakistan army for unprecedented lunch at the White House, where the two parties discussed the conflict of Iran and Israel and other strategic issues. Trump thanked him for helping to avoid a war with India.
The meeting followed Trump’s fire in May between Pakistan and India after a four -day military shock.
The heaviest fight in decades between India and Pakistan was caused by an attack on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmira (Iiojk) of April 22 that killed 26 people, most of them tourists.
Nueva Delhi blamed the incident to the “terrorists” backed by Pakistan, a position denied by Islamabad.

Last week, Pakistan announced that a “historical” commercial agreement with the United States had ended, with the aim of reducing tariffs and strengthening economic cooperation. Trump presented an association separately to help develop Pakistan oil reserves.
Trump announced the new agreement with Pakistan for the joint development of Pakistan oil reserves, calling it part of broader commercial discussions between the two countries. In a publication about Truth Social, Trump said that the United States is in the process of selecting a company to lead the project and joked that Pakistan could eventually sell oil to India.
Last month, Dar met with Rubio in the State Department at his first meeting in person, accompanied by Pakistan ambassador, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and senior officials. The conversations covered a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, agriculture, technology and minerals.
Giving emphasized Pakistan’s interest in a stable and expanded relationship with the United States and highlighted the country’s potential for US investment. On regional security, the two discussed efforts against terrorism and peace, and gave the role of President Trump in the ease of tensions between Pakistan and India. Rubio recognized the anti -terrorist sacrifices of Pakistan and his contributions to regional and global peace.
