The long -awaited meeting between the San Francisco giants and the New York giants has finally happened.
In 2015, “Dan In Warwick” called the legendary French New York Radio Sports presenter and asked him if “there had ever been a franchise to franchise … meeting” between the MLB and NFL teams, since they had the same name and the MLB team used to play in New York.
French was absolutely stunned, saying: “That could be the strangest question in a long time.”

He then joked that the “giant picnic” is in Totowa for a weekend together, and the New York and Texas rangers have similar meetings in Albeliene.
“[Henrik] Lundqvist is particularly close to Yu Darvish, “French joked.” There is a kinship between the two. “
It has happened as one of the best phone calls in the history of the radio program, and has been a hot topic in the tri-stated with the MLB giants in New York this weekend to face the Mets.
Well, the wishes of “Dan in Warick” have finally been granted.
In a video posted in X, French is seen walking through a living room before entering a door. In the room are seen Eli Manning and Shaun O’Hara of New York, and Logan Webb and Matt Chapman of San Francisco at the “Annual Meeting of Giants of the Giants” (probably in Totowa).

French was the victim of many joke calls in his last years, even if the Mets could go 162-0 after a opening day victory, how Mickey Mantle could win the triple crown if it were not a horse, that the Mets should call the “Games of Thrones” Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister (who thought it was a bad idea) and, well, whatever it is.

French withdrew briefly in 2017, but returned a few months later, but returned to full -time radio waves in 2019 and then began a podcast.
