Justin Sun returns to Earth with cosmic plans for the Tron ecosystem

Justin Sun was boldly where few men have gone before and after returning from a brief trip to the space that the founder of Tron has brought some cosmic ambitions for the ecosystem.

“Going to space has always been a dream of mine since I was a small child,” Sun told Coindesk in an interview after flying aboard Blue Origin’s NS-34 mission on August 3.

“We are at the beginning of a new chapter in exploration, where space is becoming more open and accessible, not only for governments or large institutions,” he said.

Sun secured his seat aboard the blue origin in 2021 with a winning offer of $ 28 million during a public auction. At that time, his identity remained a secret. He later revealed that he was the anonymous buyer and announced plans to bring five other passengers with him in the future flight.

“In the coming months, Mr. Sun will name five exceptional men and women to travel with him on his trip,” Blue originated in a 2021 ad.

The auction profits went to the club for the future, the non -profit organization of Blue Origin that finances the spatial education efforts.

Sun, who finally flew after years of delays, described the 10 -minute trip as “a surreal, peaceful, quiet and completely unforgettable experience.”

“In space, I realized how small the land is. It is the only home we have, and we have to do our best to take care of it,” he said.

Despite the risks of space trips, Sun said he appreciates the challenge.

“Progress rarely comes without challenges. I’ve always been open to try new things and push beyond my comfort zone,” he said.

Sun also took the opportunity to connect the mission with his work at Blockchain.

“This is an exciting moment for Tron. We have always focused on innovation and the expansion of what is possible, starting with finance and now looking beyond the earth,” he continued.

“Send Tron to space is a powerful symbol of what cooperation can achieve without borders. I think that the potential benefits of space exploration far exceed the risks,” added Sun.

“Every step we take for the space to be safer and more accessible to others in the future,” he said.
