One of ALIEN: EarthThe stars have denied that the specific examples of real life technology inspire the duplication character that portrays in the original FX TV.
Speaking to Techradar, Samuel Blenkin, who plays the Kavalier boy in the first television project of the science fiction horror franchise, said he simply trusted how the character had been written.
For the uninitiated: Boy Kavalier is the 20 -year -old CEO and founder of Prodigy Corporation. One of the five megacorporations that essentially govern the planet Earth in the Foreign Universe, Prodigy is at the forefront of unlocking human immortality through its hybrid program, an experimental procedure that transfers the awareness of a human child to an artificial adult body.
However, shortly after the prodigy successfully creates six hybrids, the USCSS Maginot, a research ship in the deep space owned by Weyland-Yutani, one of the rivals of the prodigy and the Foreign The most famous multinational in the franchise: she crashes against Prodigy City. Upon discovering that the Maginot transported five dangerous alien forms of life, including one of the iconic Xenomorphs of the franchise, to Weyland-Yutani, Kavalier appropriates the potentially lethal extrastrests for experimental purposes.
Anyone who has seen a Foreign Movie, or even a Jurassic Park One: knows that playing with things that you don’t completely understand is a recipe for disaster. However, regardless of the consequences, the arrogant and called ‘Boy genius’ Kavalier is determined to discover the secrets of Biowapons in the original Hulu and Disney+ TV.
If Kavalier’s important and rebel personality seems familiar, it could be that he reminds him of the alleged ‘technological revolutionaries’ that, like Kavalier, affirm that his technological advances are for the benefit of humanity despite the concerns about their use.
Do you need examples? What about the nature of ELON Musk Tesla Bots, which some observers have compared with the terminators of the dystopian science fiction franchise created by James Cameron? What about artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots, such as Chatgpt, who use OpenAi software co-created by Sam Altman? Or take a look at the Facebook founder and the search for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to make metarse real.
From what is worth, Blenkin rejected, or, rather, strongly dodged, the notion that anyone or all of the previous ones, or any other technological guru, influenced his representation of Kavalier.
However, he also indicated that the projects written by the creator of the Noah Hawley series (Fargo, Legion) They are often a comment on people who have been in the public eye in recent years, and/or nature in constant change of our own world. In Blenkin’s opinion, then, it is possible that the characters of the opening television program of the franchise may be rawly influenced by certain people that exist at this time.
“I think Noah did such a good job painting a vivid character,” Blenkin told me. “Like all Noah’s characters, they clearly have threads of the things we are facing today and what resonant at this time.
“But what I love is that he [Kavalier] He has very specific gestures and obsessions, “Blenkin continued.”[He has] This obsession with Peter Pan, never wears shoes or socks, has a small ball that throws, lacks its ability to attention and has an obsession with childhood and childhood innocence that equips with the type of genius [he is] and see himself as a child who never grew.
“He is able to break the rules and not have the same account as an adult with that type of morality,” he added. “Everything that was written about him was so vivid on the page, so I let the rest of the threads of characters take care of themselves.”
