ECP to listen to Omar’s Deconsation Case on 12


Islamabad:

The Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP) has listed to listen to a reference that seeks the disqualification of the leader of the National Assembly of the Omar Ayub in view of its conviction in a case related to the disturbance incidents of May 9, 2023.

According to a list of causes issued by the Police Supervision Authority on Thursday, an ECP Bank will listen to the reference on August 12. Babar Nawaz Khan of PML-N presented the petition.

A special anti -terrorism court in Faisalabad on July 31 condemned the main leaders of PTI, including Omar Ayub, leader of the Senate of the opposition Shibli Faraz, the head of SIC Hamid Raza and Sartaj Gul, 10 years in prison.
