
Karachi: The Super League of Pakistan (PSL) has been classified as the second most entertaining male franchise Cricket League in the world, according to an analysis published by BBC Sport, placing it just behind the Premier League (IPL) Indian in general classifications.
The BBC Sport report, published earlier this week, examined the main T20 franchise competitions and short format, including IPL, PSL, SA20 in South Africa, Big Bash League (BBL) of Australia, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the T20 International League (ILT20) of the EAU (ILT20) and one hundred in England.
The study was conducted in collaboration with the Cricoviz Cricket Analysis Company and measured a range of metrics related to performance and entertainment.
The evaluation considered factors such as the average number of four and six per game, batting attack rates, the proportion of games determined in the final or the ball, the trends in the advantage of the house, the Wickt taking patterns and the average number of international limits between the initial XI.
According to the findings, the PSL led all leagues in average scores of the first entries, registering 180 races per game, a run higher than the 179 of the IPL. In terms of nearby finishes, the PSL had 27.5 percent of its matches determined in the final, only at only 28.9 percent of the IPL.
He also occupied the second place in the limits per game, again following only the IPL.
By measuring the quality of the player through international experience, the PSL averaged 351 international limits in the starting XI, the second highest among the leagues surveyed.
The ILT20 headed this category with an average of 423, helped for its greater assignment for foreign players.
The BBC report stressed that the PSL offers quality, emotion and great careers, and the competition constantly produces competitive and high score matches and attracts the main international Crick players.
In the “entertainment index”, which added the performance through the measured meter, the IPL emerged as the best classified league, obtaining index score 4.53 of a maximum of five, followed by the PSL with an index score 3.90.
The ILT20 (2.44) was the third in the entertainment index, while England The Hundred took fourth place, followed by CPL in 5th and SA in 6th. The BBL ended last.
Throwed in 2016, the PSL has quickly become one of the most high profile franchise leagues in the Cricket calendar.
