The first year corridor of LSU Tigers, JT Lindsey, gave himself to the authorities when he faced accusations that he housed two men accused of murder in his bedroom.
Shemell Jacobs, 17, and Keldrick Jordan, 18, were sought by armed robbery and second -degree murder charges in Louisiana, said Alexandria’s police department. The American bailiff service arrested both suspects on Monday in the LSU bedrooms.

The two were accused of killing a 17 -year -old in May.
Lindsey was arrested on Friday by two accessories, after second degree murder charges and released the same day with a bail of $ 5,000.
A affidavit said that Jacobs had the identification of the Lindsey school and could give the football player’s pin to allow him to access the bedroom and that the two could be seen together since July 24, according to WAFB-TV.
Lindsey’s lawyer Kris Perret told The Outlet in a statement that his client did not know that the two suspects were sought in relation to a murder and that Lindsey has been inflexible about his innocence.
“My customer JT Lindsey has been arrested for accusations of ‘accessory after the fact’ for allowing two people, 17 and 18, who knew, were sought in Alexandria, to stay in their LSU apartment during a couple of nights that began on July 24 or around July 24,” said Perret.
“It is alleged that the two individuals were sought for crimes that are accused of committing in mid -May 2025 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Perret added that Lindsey is cooperating with the authorities.
“I did not know that the arrested people had committed any crimes or that they had been accused of any crime, or that the police were looking for them to interrogate them when it allowed them to stay in their department,” he added. “If I had known that individuals were accused of crimes or sought by the police, they would not have allowed them to enter their apartment or associated with them in any way.
“In addition, at no time JT Lindsey did anything, nor did he take any action, nor did he demonstrate any intention to house, hide or help any of the defendants and now arrested people to avoid arrest, apprehension, trial, condemnation or punishment for their crimes. He is happy that these people were taken by the authorities without incident.”
Lsu said he was aware of Lindsey’s arrest and that he would have “no comment out of respect for the legal process.” Perret said Lindsey was suspended at the moment.
Lindsey, who was born in Alexandria, was one of the two best runners who committed to school in the 2025 class. He was classified as a four -star prospect.
