A three-day curfew in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Bajaur district has been imposed with 27 areas locked in Mamund Tehsil and blocked roads for a specific operation, authorities said Monday.
All residents have been asked to remain inside with the authorities that warn that the violations of the remaining touch would be low risk of residents.
The district administration said that the Mamund curfew would remain in force from August 11 to 11 at 11 am on August 14.
Previously, according to local sources, hundreds of families had abandoned the area, seeking security in other parts of the district and beyond.
To accommodate them, the district authorities have unemployed 107 public schools and universities and established a 450 tents camp in the Baja Sports Complex.

The district administration had also ordered the elimination of corn crops planted 100 meters from the road.
Farmers received a three -day ultimatum to harvest their crops, and officials cite security considerations behind the board.
The authorities said the measures were part of the precautionary steps that were being taken, since the situation remained volatile in the region.
On Friday, the seventh round of Bajaur Peace Jirga concluded without advance, since the negotiations reached a key point at a key dispute point between the two parts.
Both parties raised objections to a particular clause in discussion, which resulted in a stagnation.
In statements to the media, the member of Peace Jirga, Sahibzada Haroonur Rasheed, confirmed the dead point and said: “Efforts are being made to resolve the dead point. The Jirga is still committed to playing his role in the maintenance of peace in the region.”
He urged both parties to exercise restriction and patience during the continuous process.
“We have appealed to both parties to demonstrate tolerance. They have assured us that in the case of any conflict, civilians will not be harmed,” he added.
