The Indycar driver, Conor Daly, was involved in a horrible accident during the Bitnile.com Grand Portland on Sunday afternoon.
Daly was in an aggressive battle with Christian Rasmussen for a few laps at the beginning of the race. The two got in touch in Tour 13 and then contacted again in Tour 15. However, Daly took the worst part of the last touch and was sent crashing against the security barrier at several feet of the track.

He set the blame for Rasmussen.
“I saw him drive Colton (Herta) almost on the wall on the back,” Daly said, through Indy Star. “It was quite slow, so I tried to pass it to (turn) 7. He moved away from the track to make sure he left the track. I’m not sure of that point. It’s stupid, in my opinion.
“I was really slowly on the straight line, and I passed it, and then it never stopped. It’s a dangerous corner to try to do that. I would say) that it was an insecure movement. I don’t understand it.”
Rasmussen did not agree with Daly evaluation of the shipwreck.
“Well, I think that is what you can expect to happen if you try to roll the outside on curve 10, which is obviously the fastest corner of the track alongside that I am next to him,” he said.

“So, I don’t know if he just expected him to retire … I’m inside, so I wasn’t going to retire. Obviously, the control of the race saw him in the same way, so I don’t know. There is not much more than add it.”
Rasmussen took part of the blame, admitting that his wheel touched his side.
Daly took another opportunity in Rasmussen on social networks before the end of the day.
“Disregarding someone in a 150 mph corner is only pure madness. That is not a race. It is inexcusable. Driving standards, for some, are a joke at this time. That means you (Rasmussen),” he wrote in X.
Rasmussen ended in 12th, and Daly was 26.
