BHAKKAR:

A fake healer was arrested for his involvement in immoral activities and sexual exploitation of women. Police also recovered explicit video evidence from the suspect.

The suspect, identified as Allah Bakhsh alias Kala Peer, was arrested from Shakargarh town under the jurisdiction of Hyderabad Thal police station in Mankera tehsil of Bhakkar.

The defendants, allegedly involved in sexual crimes for more than 25 years, operated under the guise of offering spiritual remedies and spells.

Police said Kala Peer preyed on unsuspecting women, luring them with promises of spiritual healing and then blackmailing them with secretly recorded explicit videos.

Upon receiving the tip-off, the police raided the premises of the accused and arrested him. A USB containing incriminating videos of women who had visited him for spiritual guidance was seized.

A case has been registered against the accused at the Hyderabad Thal police station and further investigation is underway.

Speaking to The Express PAkGazette, SP Investigation Bhakkar, Chaudhry Masood Nazir, revealed shocking details.

He claimed that the defendants not only sexually harassed and exploited women, but also extorted them by threatening to publish the videos.

The information was communicated to Bhakkar District Police Officer Shehzad Rafiq Awan, who ordered immediate action.

During the raid, police discovered that the accused had installed a hidden camera in his private room, which recorded videos of women he manipulated.

The chamber contained a bed, strategically placed in front of the camera.

These videos were later stored on USB drives and used for blackmail.

SP Nazir further revealed that Allah Bakhsh, in addition to his crimes, served as an imam at a local mosque, leading prayers and delivering sermons on Fridays. This role helped him gain the trust of the community, making his heinous acts even more insidious.

The accused is currently in police custody and expert investigators are pursuing the case to ensure a transparent and thorough investigation. The authorities have promised to take all legal measures to bring the perpetrator to justice.

“People involved in such despicable acts do not deserve leniency,” SP Nazir said.
