Jay-Z criticized by judge for aggressive tactics in teen rape case

Jay-Z has been criticized by the judge for the aggressive tactics used in the case of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000.

As reported by daily mailJay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, was admonished during the hearing by Judge Analisa Torres for “wasting judicial resources” in a five-page file released on Thursday, December 26.

Additionally, the aggressive legal tactics of the 55-year-old music mogul’s lawyer were described as “combative” and filled with “inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks.”

According to the judge’s ruling, Carter’s attorney’s relentless presentation was a tactic unlikely to benefit his client.

“The Court will not expedite the judicial process simply because the attorney demands it,” the judge ruled.

Furthermore, favoring his accuser, the judge, according to PEOPLEallowed the woman to remain anonymous in the rape lawsuit.

In a dramatic turn of events, Jay-Z along with Sean “Diddy” Combs become embroiled in a rape lawsuit that took place 24 years ago.

The lawsuit, filed by Jane Doe on Dec. 8, accused the music moguls of raping a 13-year-old girl at a house party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

Jay-Z was later added to the case as an alleged participant, which he vehemently denies.

The rapper has since demanded the lawsuit be dismissed, calling it “false” and urging the accuser to be publicly identified.
