While United Airlines is not launching an experience in the ‘Musical Dance’ flight, he is doing the next best option. Thanks to a new association with Apple TV+, one of the best transmission services, you can see Rupture, Among other shows, while flying at 30,000 feet or so.
Joining the growing entertainment experience in United Airlines Aircraft is an Apple TV+ Originals quartet, and that number will return again next month, in September. At the launch, you can access episodes from the first season of Rupture, Contraction, Ted Lasso, Slow horses and Silo On the screen in front of your chair or through the united application while it is in flight.
Next month, September 2025, United will add the first season of The morning show and Bad sisters. United operates a wide range of airplanes and somewhere around 130,000 screens integrated in the back of the seats. Although that is a massive number and the newest airplanes will expand, it is good to see that United also offers this new content of Apple TV+ through the application.
People who potentially travel on planes without screens, but with Wi-Fi connectivity will have the same access to the content library. While this is not the first time that Apple TV+ has taken to heaven, some of its originals are available in American Airlines and Air Canada, addition is a big problem for United Airlines, and it is the first time that the full seasons of the service are made available. Frequent Flyers from United will appreciate it.
The airline has promised to add new episodes and expand to other programs, movies and documentaries monthly. The Apple TV+ Originals join a variety of other content and even access to popular podcasts, audiobooks and reproduction lists available on Spotify.
Add programs like Rupture However, it makes a lot of sense, since Apple TV+ is having an incredibly strong year and the transmission service has secured a record of 81 nominations for the Emmy Awards. So, if you have not seen compensation yet and you have a few hours that you need to fill while on a United flight, you can now get the first season, or see it again, from the comfort of your seat.
It will be interesting to if United Airlines can reach a similar agreement with any other transmission service or if other airlines choose to add Apple TV+. Recently, Delta Airlines announced a collaboration with Crunchyroll to transmit the selected anime while in flight.
This expansion for United Airlines arrives at the same time with a heavier approach to the flight experience: the airline is also in the process of installing Wi-Fi with a Starlink motor, faster and faster for free for Milheageplus members aboard their airplanes. It is a longer deployment, but the promise is much faster, which allows passengers to transmit their own content and more improvements to flight experience.
We are still waiting to see the complete vision of the latter, but the expansion to include Apple TV+ popular originals is certainly a step in the right direction. At least, Innie will appreciate the expansion and your departure will like fate … or vice versa.
