Denzel Washington, a native of New York, one of the largest stars in Hollywood, said he has been an avid defender of the Dallas Cowboys for decades.
But the two -time academy award winner expressed his frustration with the current state of his beloved NFL franchise. Washington made a guest appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” program on Tuesday in support of his next movie “The lowest 2 lower”.
While much of his conversation with presenter Stephen A. Smith focused on the film, Washington took a moment to call the owner of the cowboys for a long time, Jerry Jones, when the drought of the Super Bowl of the franchise approaches the three decades mark.

The Cowboys Star Pass runner, Micah Parsons, continues to endure and looking for an exchange, since the conversations with Jones and the main office of the team in a long -term contract extension seemed to stop.

Washington suggested that the management of Jones of Parsons’ situation was ultimately a bad service for team fans.
“I don’t like what (Jones) is doing … I respect the owner, but I don’t like what fans are doing,” Washington said. “He is not thinking about us, fans. He is thinking about his pockets. It’s like … there is a box office and there are the Oscars. And you have not been in (the Oscar) in a minute. At the end of the day, I’m still going to wear my hat with the star.”

Washington then tried to discuss the movie again, but not before offering Jones more tips.
“All money is not good money, Jerry!” Washington warned.

Washington also said he has been a fan of the cowboys “since the 1960s.” The 70 -year -old actor has also long supported the Los Angeles Lakers.
Parsons lost four games last season, but the year still ended with 12 catches. He has recorded two digit captures in each of his four seasons in the NFL.
Last week, Jones admitted that he was not completely sure that Parsons would be with a cowboys uniform for the first game of the team against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“No, absolutely not,” Jones said last Tuesday. “A large part of that is your decision. How would that know?”
The cowboys have won three Super Bowl titles since Jones became the franchise’s controller owner. However, the team has not reached the championship game since the 1995 season.
