Three police officers were martyred when the alleged terrorists ambushed their vehicle in the Alizai area of the Tribal District of Kurram on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the attackers threw a grenade of hand in the vehicle of the law agents before opening fire on it, which resulted in the martyrdom of three police officers. The attackers also used a rocket -propelled grenade in the mortal ambush. The law personnel were on their way to Parachinar when he was ambushed.
According to preliminary reports, the attackers also took the weapons of the martyrs and fled the scene. The security forces launched a search operation in the area after the ambush to track and catch the attackers.
Meanwhile, the authorities relaxed the left -hand touch in Bajaur, allowing markets to reopen and resume everyday life.
After the relaxation, the residents went mass to the local bazaars to buy essential products. Khark Bazaar, Inayat Kallay Bazaar, Siddiqabad Bazaar and Nawagai Bazaar were among the shopping centers that opened their doors. Traffic on the main roads also returned to normal.
However, in the light of the prevailing security situation, the police maintained strict control points on the main roads and all the points of entry and exit of the district.
