PM Shehbaz Waves Olive Branch with ‘Charter for Stability’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday renewed his call to the National Unity and invited all political parties, interested parties and civil society to join Misaq-I-Itehkam-i-Pakistan, since the Nation marked its 78th Independence Day along with the celebrations for the victory of Marka-E-HAQ.

Going to a great ceremony in the Federal Capital, the Prime Minister announced the creation of the Army rocket force to strengthen the country’s combat capabilities.

The symbolic Bunyanum Marsount Memor also inaugurated.

The special event, held at the Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad, brought together the country’s most civil and military leadership, foreign dignitaries and thousands of citizens.

The High-Profile Gathering was attenthed by President Asif Ali Zardari, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Also Munir, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardarari, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Senate Chairman Yous Gilani Race, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz SADIQ, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Federal and State Ministers, members of Parliament and ambassadors of friendly countries.

Going to the audience, Shehbaz said that the moment had come beyond the political division, personal interests and “empty slogans” and, instead, adopt a collective mentality to ensure the future of the country.

“On this great day, once again, with an open heart, I invite all political parties, stakeholders and civil society to be part of Misaq-I-itehkam-i-Pakistan [Charter for Stability of Pakistan]”said Prime Minister.

Shehbaz explained that the proposed letter was not simply a plan to relive the economy but the basis of a broad base agenda. “We must show the world that differences have their own place, but for the sake of our beloved Pakistan, we are united,” he emphasized.

He warned that Pakistan would not give space to any new “fitna” [mischief] After decades of sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. “The protest is a right, but not vandalism; criticism is a right, but not abuse; politics is a right, but not a rebellion against the State. We will not allow such elements to take root,” he said.

In his speech, the prime minister paid tribute to the parents and founding ideologues of the nation whose leadership and struggle “changed history and geography”, and the martyrs whose sacrifices shaped shape the destiny of the country.

He claimed the Armed Forces for their “historical” performance during the four -day military confrontation with India in May, describing it as a time when Pakistan’s soldiers “taught India a lesson that will remember for eternity.”

Shehbaz praised the Marshal Munir as a “great son of the nation” who devised a strategy against the “war hysteria” of India that won the recognition of friends and enemies equally.

He reported how India attacked on the basis of falsehoods, sure of his military force, but humiliated himself quickly. “In four days, the pride of India was buried in dust,” he said, adding that Pakistan’s forces fought “like a steel wall.”

The prime minister also praised the Heads of Service, president of the Jefications of the Joint General Staff, General Sahid Shamshad Mirza, the chief of the air staff, the head of the Marshal of the Air Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, and the head of the Naval Personnel, the Naval Admiral of Ashraf, for his leadership.

Defense impulse

When marking the occasion, the prime minister announced the creation of the Army rocket force, equipped with advanced technology and aimed at serving as a “milestone” to strengthen the combat capabilities of the country.

He stressed that Pakistan’s nuclear capacity was not for aggression but to maintain strategic balance with India. “We are the only Islamic country of nuclear weapons, and the Muslim Ummah looks at us with hope,” he said, paying tribute to nuclear scientists and the nation’s armed forces.

Shehbaz praised the role of friendly nations in supporting Pakistan’s position during Marka-E-Haq, naming China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Iran. “The nation thanks everyone for being with us on the global stage,” he said.

He also thanked the president of the United States, Donald Trump, for helping to negotiate the fire, expressing the hope that Trump will play a role in the resolution of the Kashmira dispute in line with the resolutions of the United Nations.

The prime minister urged the public to remember those who are still under occupation, pointing out the difficult situation of the people of Gaza and Kashmir. “Pakistan has always maintained its principle and with an unwavering commitment together with the oppressed,” he said.

“The Palestinian issue has become a proof of humanity’s awareness. We will continue moral, diplomatic and political support until our brothers and sisters in Kashmir and Palestine receive their rights.”

Vision for the future

Shehbaz said that after assuming the position, his government had stabilized a fragile economy and avoided breach. He pointed out maximums in the stock market and a reduction in interest rates such as gradual recovery signs.

He accredited these profits to correct political and military decisions, adding that international institutions had begun to recognize Pakistan’s entry into “a new economic era.” He recognized the cooperation of the Campo Mariscal also Munir in the formulation of the National Action Plan and the National Finance Plan.

He urged millions of children to get up with the resolution to build the country. He said that dozens of education and employment projects have been launched, encouraging young people to work hard and help Pakistan be a self -sufficient state.

The Day of Independence and the celebrations of Marka-E-HAQ developed with complete ceremonial pomp. The event opened with the recitation of the Sacred Koran and followed by parades of the three branches of the Armed Forces.

The contingents of Turkiye and Azerbaiyan also joined to the passage of March, and the formations of the members of the parade spent “Freedom” and “Marka-E-Haq” and formed the national flag. The Pakistan Air Force aircraft carried out acrobatic maneuvers on the stadium, exciting spectators.

When the clock gave midnight, the celebrations culminated in a spectacular exhibition of fireworks that illuminate the sky of Islamabad while playing the national anthem, marking the official start of the 78th year of Independence of Pakistan.
