Islamabad: Pakistan’s civil and military leadership marked the 78th day of the country’s independence with messages of renewed unity, resilience and commitment to defend sovereignty, linking this year’s celebrations with military success in Marka-O-Haq with India with the Indian of April 22 Pahalgam Attack at the conclusion of May 10 of Operation Bunyan-Marsoos.

He praised the armed forces for reviving “his past glory and destroyed the false pride of the enemy by acting as a Bunyan-Moarsose, a solid fortified wall” and paid tribute to the martyrs “who sacrificed their lives for the good of our freedom.”
Calling it “not only a military conquest, but also the victory of the validation of a theory of two nations,” the prime minister promised to “be attentive to defend and safeguard our national interests, including water resources.”
By affirming the belief of Pakistan in “peaceful coexistence and solving regional and global problems through dialogue and diplomacy,” he urged India to “demonstrate the same will for the resolution of all disputes, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.”
The prime minister also emphasized the importance of economic stability for national defense, citing “the substantial reduction of electricity rates” and committing to “mobilizing all available resources” to face economic, industrial and technological challenges. “We all need to demonstrate the spirit of Marka-E-Haq and the movement of Pakistan,” he said.

President Asif Ali Zardari said: “We are going to overcome our divisions and be together for a Pakistan who is based on justice, equality, faith and service to all.”
The president linked the celebrations with the recent conflict, saying that the nation marked the day “with a feeling of renewed pride and hope, since recently the nation had reaffirmed its strength, resolution and unity against external aggression.”
“Our success in Marka-E-HAQ and Operation Bunyan-Mou-Marsosos is a historical moment in our history. It was a demonstration of unwavering national testament, professional excellence and a united purpose,” he said.
“Faced with the unjustified Indian aggression, Pakistan responded clearly, courage and restriction. The world witnessed a peace -loving nation, but totally capable of defending his sovereignty and territorial integrity,” added the president.
Calling it “more than military success,” Ssari said it was “a reminder of what we can achieve when we are united, focused and committed to a common goal” and urged the nation to “channel this spirit in our economic rebirth, educational reform, technological progress, institutional development and environmental resilience.”
He also expressed solidarity with the people of India illegally occupied, Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), adding his courage and struggle for justice and his right to self -determination remained close to their hearts.
In addition, he reiterated that Pakistan would continue to extend his unwavering diplomatic, moral and political support until his right to self -determination is carried out.

“On our 79th Independence Day, I extend my sincere happiness to the nation. I proceed to the immortal sacrifices made by our ancestors, stating that Pakistan was born from his indomitable spirit and devotion to the truth. I reaffirmed that our nation cannot be defeated as much time as we are united,” he said.
“I ask all fellow citizens who remain united, protect democratic values and contribute collectively to build a strong, dignified and prosperous Pakistan, for today and in times to come,” he added.
He praised the “resolution of our armed forces and our people who joined to safeguard our sovereignty”, saying that he reflected the “formidable military preparation” and “a foreign policy of principles that has gained broad international support.”
“As we celebrate our Independence Day and Marka-E-HAQ, we are reminded that freedom is preserved not only defending our borders but also by defending the principles of truth, justice and dignity in our international commitments,” he added.

In a joint message, Field Marshal also Munir, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Admiral Naveed Ashraf and the Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu extended the “sincere congratulations … on the absent occasion of Pakistan’s independence day for Pakistan’s independence day.”
