- Danish brand Jamo returns after a hiatus with two new lines
- Concert revives the design of the 90s, wood veneer.
- Element offers shallow bodies and discreet designs.
After a sale of the company in 2024 cast doubt on its continued existence, traditional Danish hi-fi brand Jamo has proven skeptics wrong by making a comeback. And it’s not just about returning with a product, but with a whopping Seven.
These are two families and one will be familiar to audiophiles. The Concert Legacy series brings back the look of Jamo’s older speakers, including the Concert 803, but in a newer form.
There are three models here: Legacy 8 ($2,999), Legacy 9 ($5,299), and Legacy 11 ($7,999). Each price is for one pair of speakers and we are waiting for international prices, but we expect them to be available in many countries.
The Legacy 8 is a passive bookshelf speaker with a 6.5-inch midwoofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter. The Legacy 9 is a floorstander that adds two 6.5-inch woofers to the mix, and the Legacy 11 includes another one of those woofers, for good measure.
In the latter two models, the woofers are separated into a lower unit, which is rubber-padded to prevent it from affecting the higher frequencies.
Each model comes in a trio of wood finishes: Onxy, Heritage or Northern Frost.
Keeping it flat
Jamo’s new family of devices is the Concert Element series. This one differentiates itself by adopting a Scandinavian-chic design; each one looks like a Lego brick that plays music. They are minimalist and original.
There are four devices here: the Concert Element 50 ($1,099), Element 70 ($1,899), Element 90 ($2,499), and the SW10 subwoofer ($699, and this price is for just one unit, not two).
With a (relatively) slim design, these devices are designed to fit best into shallow crevices or, in the case of the Element 50 shelving unit, into furniture. This model has a 1-inch dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch woofer, with a downward-facing port.
The next two models are floor-standing. The Element 70 has a 1-inch tweeter, a 5-inch medium driver, and an 8-inch woofer, while the Element 90 increases the size of those drivers slightly with a 1-inch tweeter, a 6.5-inch medium woofer, and a 10-inch woofer.
As you can probably guess from the prices, these aren’t exactly the audio equals of the Concert Legacy series, although you’d still expect them to be impressive. It’s the design that sets these models apart, with a clean look that screams modernism, and we really like the consideration to create a slimmer option for tighter spaces.
The Concert Element SW10 offers a 10-inch long-throw woofer and connects to other speakers via a dual RCA/LFE line input.
These seven new Jamo speakers will go on sale in August 2026, so you’ve got some time to save up for them.

The best stereo speakers for all budgets.
