Dar has continued to receive international recognition for his diplomatic leadership as Pakistan has positioned itself at the center of high-stakes mediation efforts during the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran.

Hosting the “Islamabad Talks” in early April, which although ended without progress, Pakistan has continued its diplomatic efforts, engaging with leaders from across the Gulf and beyond.

On April 27, Foreign Minister Dar held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, Canada and Egypt, discussing developments related to the regional situation and emphasizing the importance of diplomacy for peace. Three days later, European Union Vice President Kaja Kallas also spoke to Dar and appreciated Pakistan’s continued constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
