ESPN star responds to Aaron Rodgers after Jets QB asks critics to share ‘vax status’

A day after Aaron Rodgers said his critics should “declare [their] vax state,” former NFL star Ryan Clark launched into a minutes-long quarterback-tearing tirade.

Clark recently called Rodgers a “fraud” at ESPN after Rodgers criticized the network, where he appears weekly on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

“Now, it’s all talk shows and people whose opinions are very important now, and they think they’re celebrities now. They’re stars simply for being able to talk about sports or give an opinion about sports, many of which are unfounded or stupid, as we all know, but that’s the environment we’re in right now,” Rodgers said.

That led Clark to call Rodgers a “hypocrite” last week. And after subtle jabs at each other, Clark posted a video to his

After further discussing why he believed Rodgers was a “hypocrite,” Clark said Rodgers was the “only” person speaking out about the vaccine war.

“Now I know that another thing they were very interested in was my vaccination status. And yes, I’m excited because I don’t have a spleen or a gallbladder to play in Denver,” Clark said in the video. “And as for your vaccination status, you can stop trying to fool people into thinking we want to talk about that over the stench of your movie. I have never heard it again after your incident.

“And the only reason we talked about it then was because depending on your vaccination status, it was going to determine how long you were going to be out. And also, people didn’t care that you weren’t vaccinated. They cared that you were vaccinated.” They cared that you were deceptive about it and had that air of arrogance when answering questions about it. And you’ve been the only person to talk about it since then.

Clark also said he formed his opinion of Rodgers based on conversations he had with former teammates of Rodgers, not because of his vaccination status. The former defenseman then fired a shot from close range.

“But let me be very, very clear. My job is to analyze you. You have decided to analyze me. And in analyzing you, what I know is that your QBR is 21. I also know that you are the quarterback of a 4-10 that has to win the last three games of the season to match what last year’s team was without you,” Clark continued.

“Now I get it. You come on the show and talk about my brooch. And you curse and all that tough talk. I just need you to know that none of that scares me. I’m going to do my job the way I’m supposed to do it.” “I don’t feel any possibility of not being able to talk about what the movie says because of what my career was. And if you continue to be arrogant, conceited or hypocritical, and that belongs to my job, I’m going to do it.”

Rodgers has since shared his regret over his approach when initially discussing his vaccination status.
