The president of the United States, Donald Trump, will organize a cryptographic summit on March 7, the White House announced.
The Cryptographic of the White House and the Tsar of AI David Sacks and Bo Hines, the executive director of a working group on digital assets, will administer the meeting, although Trump will speak at the summit, according to a press release on Friday night.
“Attendees will include outstanding founders, CEO and investors of the cryptographic industry, as well as members of the president’s working group on digital assets,” said the statement.
The summit will arrive approximately one month after the captures, together with the leaders of the Congress, made their first public comments such as Trump’s cryptographic tsar.
“We want to keep that innovation on land in the United States,” he said at the press conference on February 4. “Financial assets are destined to become digital, just like each analog industry has become digital, and we want this value creation to occur in the United States, instead of giving it to other countries.”
The White House did not appoint the other attendees of the summit.
Friday’s announcement ends a week occupied for the cryptographic industry. Early in the day, a federal judge signed the motion of the Bag and Securities Commission to withdraw his case against Coinbase.
Joe Lubin, the CEO of Ethereum Incubator consensys, and Cameron Winklevos, co -founder of Exchange Gemini, said the SEC informed their respective companies that it would close their investigations in those companies.
The SEC also appeared to stop its case against the Tron Foundation and founder Justin Sun.
“After the previous administration unfairly prosecuted the space of digital assets, President Trump’s policy vision represents a new era for digital financial technology,” said the press release. “The administration undertakes to provide a clear regulatory framework, allowing innovation and the protection of economic freedom.”
