“When a mysterious set of ruins is discovered, a young adventurer named Elliot and his fairy partner Faie are sent on a trip to investigate. What seems like a simple, although dangerous mission, soon becomes a large saga that will be woven through time and space,” describes Square Enix.

Like Elliot, the player will explore an expansive world equipped with multiple types of weapons, such as swords, arches, chains and hoces, which can be customized to increase statistics. Faie will also have a power of ‘sprint’ that lets Elliot close faster.
The final revelation of the showcase was Octopath Traveler 0which is the newest entry into the Traveling octopath Series, arriving at Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2025.
