According to the reports, the Center of Memphis Grizzlies Zach Edey was arrested in Indiana for allegedly accelerating through an area of 55 mph earlier this month.
The 7 -foot 4 basketball player was accused of reckless driving and will make an appearance in the court in Tippecanoe County next week, according to online records.
Edey was registered in around 101 mph in Indiana 25 on May 1, the Journal & Courier reported, citing a police affidavit.

According to reports, Edey said he was trying to pass another vehicle, which was his reasoning for speeding.
