200 federal police officers will receive training in Saudi Arabia


Both Home Ministers exchange greetings with Eidul Azha and convey their best wishes to each other

Two hundred personnel of the Special Diplomatic Protection Unit of the Federal Police will receive training in Saudi Arabia. The decision was made during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday.

In a post on X, the ministry said both home ministers exchanged Eidul Azha greetings and conveyed their best wishes to each other.

He added that the Saudi Interior Minister congratulated his Pakistani counterpart, Naqvi, on the Hajj.

The meeting also included a detailed exchange of views on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and internal security issues.

To enhance bilateral cooperation, a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia will visit Pakistan very soon.

Naqvi praised the excellent arrangements of the Saudi government during the Hajj. Both Interior Ministers also discussed the latest situation in the region.

Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in reducing tensions.
