If you love a well-crafted latte or cappuccino but struggle to create the right milk texture at home, help is available. Jura has just launched a new automatic milk frother, which creates silky hot or cold micro-foam with the push of a button.
Jura is a Swiss company known for its premium coffee machines, like the Jura J10, which earned a spot in our roundup of the best coffee makers thanks to its excellent brewing and top-notch milk frothing system. I called the J10 “the next best thing to having a barista in your kitchen,” but if that’s out of your budget, the Automatic Milk Frother will help you take your coffee to the next level for a much more affordable price.

Your milk, your way
Some of the models I’ve tested are optimized for use with cow’s milk, but the Jura Automatic Milk Frother can also handle plant-based alternatives like oats and soy, as long as the fat content is high enough. It has four settings: hot foam, cold foam, hot milk, and hot chocolate, which you can make more indulgent by using real chocolate pieces instead of powder.
If you’re feeling adventurous, its slim pour spout will also allow you to experiment with creating your own latte art.
When you’re done, the frother is easy to clean thanks to its stainless steel interior and curved lines, meaning there are no nooks and crannies for debris to accumulate.
The Jura Automatic Milk Frother is now available direct from Jura for £99.95 (around $130 / AU$190) and will soon pay for itself by replacing expensive takeaway coffee. I’ll be testing it out soon to see how it compares to the Smeg Mini Milk Frother and the Dreo BaristaMaker, so stay with TechRadar to find out which one is best for you.
