Anthropic’s Claude AI will reportedly stop working on Wednesday, April 15.

According to Downdetector, more than 15,000 users have reported the incident. The main problem with the interruption is connectivity problems.

The service outage began early in the morning and users reported more and more problems.

As of 8:02 a.m. PT, more than 7,000 users had reported issues.

In 25 minutes, outage reports doubled, exceeding 15,000 affected users.

46% of users cited the problem in Claude’s code, while 24% referred to the problems in Claude’s chat. On the other hand, 18% reported some problem with the mobile application.

Users report that login failures and website accessibility issues are also prevalent.

Anthropic’s status page revealed that the organization had confirmed it was “investigating the issue.” However, at 8:08 am PT, the status changed to show that “a fix is ​​being implemented.”

At 8:25 am PT, Anthropic stated that “Claude’s API is now fully recovered at 8:01 PT/16:01 UTC.”

In the official statement, Claude acknowledged the issue and wrote: “We are currently working to mitigate the ongoing bugs for Claude AI. Logged in Claude Code users can still use it, but the login still doesn’t work.”
