David Beckham and Vitoria Beckham are reportedly facing off behind closed doors as tensions with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, continue to rise.
The last twist? Younger brother Cruz Beckham recently posted a nostalgic childhood photo with Brooklyn on Instagram, a move that experts say didn’t sit well with David.
“‘David was upset when he saw Cruz’s post and thought Victoria might be behind it,'” a source said. Nearest Magazineadding that David accused Victoria of having a “dangerous addiction to the public relations game.”
According to inside sources, the former soccer star believes that public attempts at “performative peace” could actually drive Brooklyn further apart, especially after Brooklyn allegedly accused the family of putting the “Beckham Brand” over genuine relationships.
Things allegedly became explosive during a private argument in which David allegedly wanted Victoria to “back off and stop using her other children as pawns in her quest for the perfect image.”
Meanwhile, Victoria continued to post polished family moments online, while Brooklyn kept a noticeably lower profile in Los Angeles with wife Nicola Peltz.
Adding another layer to the rumored tension, David recently joked that Victoria was constantly posting photos during the Hour 100 Galawriting: “My night, every night we go out… quote of the night ‘you look great, I’m going to post this.'”
