KARACHI:
Dr Farooq Sattar, senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), has approached the Sindh Information Commission seeking release of the investigation report and official records related to the Gul Plaza tragedy.
Accompanied by lawyer Moshir Tariq Mansoor, Dr Sattar submitted an application to the commission seeking full access to the inquiry commission’s report and proceedings related to the incident. He noted that it was the legal and moral responsibility of state institutions to make public the facts of such tragedies and identify those responsible.
