The Prince and Princess of Wales have an important role in the royal family as the future King and Queen, so King Charles has delegated some key responsibilities to the couple.
However, there is uproar in the Royal Household as an important meeting between King Charles and the Sussexes looms – something Prince William does not agree with. Although sources have assured that the meeting is arranged so that the monarch finally meets his grandchildren.
While William may not like the idea, it’s possible that Princess Kate, who is a doting mother of three, could soften towards her niece and nephew, as hinted in her latest message.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared an update from Kate’s visit to Italy, where she spoke deeply about early childhood and how relationships are a crucial aspect of everything.
“It is vital to preserve the spirit of childhood along with healthy development,” Kate wrote in her new essay, reflecting on her visit.
“Childhood is essential to developing a healthy balance between mind, body and spirit. But children are not simply learners of information. They do not analyze joy, but live it; they do not intellectualize connection, but embody it. They experience the world through feeling, through love.”
Given how much Kate feels about young children, the royals might make an exception for Prince Harry’s children.
Meghan Markle’s arrival alongside Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is not yet officially confirmed, but Prince Harry will arrive in the UK for a five-day visit next month.
The future Queen maintains a close bond with her father-in-law given their shared fight against cancer, so she may be able to put some of her grievances aside for the reunion.
