Djokovic avoided losing the set on serve, reducing the deficit to 5-4. To avoid a 2-0 deficit, he needed to break Sinner’s serve for the first time in the match. However, Sinner won the game without giving up a point, taking a 2-0 lead.

In the third set, Sinner wasted no time and broke Djokovic’s serve in the first game after four break points. After that, both players held serve and Sinner won the set 6-4. Djokovic did not break Sinner’s serve even once during the match.

The crowd chanted “Novak! Novak!” between points to try to cheer up the 24-time Grand Slam winner, but to no avail.
