Vicious Vicki is once again crossing the Jersey state line in hopes of returning to the Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) Women’s Championship draw on Saturday.
She will be one of 10 women who will participate in a battle royal to determine who is the number one contender for the title held by Steph De Lander. Vicki was able to best De Lander at Reckoning when she pinned her to win a tag team match. But on Independence Day at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, the stakes are a little higher.

Vicki told Pak Gazette Digital in a recent interview that her opponents looked at her and walked all over her.
“Look, I’ve been a part of ACW since its inception. I’ve been, yes, the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of ACW,’ but at the same time, I’ve been stepped on, stepped on, ignored, overshadowed, and I feel like I have 10 other women that have no business being in that ring,” she said. “And I feel like I’m going to throw them around and prove once again why I should be the ACW Women’s Champion.
“Now, I know I have to get the contender to do that, but there have been multiple times where I should have been in the title match or had the title. So Saturday will be a proving ground once again for why I am the best in ACW.”

Vicki, originally from New Jersey, is passionate about the sport and her craft.
He said he fell in love with professional wrestling after watching WWE Hall of Famer Lita and The Hardy Boyz in action during the Attitude Era. Since then, all she could think about was achieving her dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
“I’ve been a fan for almost my entire life. At four years old, I was watching Attitude Era and just watching these giant characters and I really fell in love with it,” she said. “I always wanted to be like Lita. That was the initial thing. I wanted to be like Lita growing up and the Hardy Boyz and whatever. And yeah, it was one of those things where I loved it and I was an athlete growing up and all I talked about was wrestling.
“The only thing I was thinking about was wrestling. ‘How am I going to make this a real career?’ Then I went through some things growing up, but it finally happened. In 2018, I finally took the leap and knew that if I didn’t do it or try, I would regret it forever. “It was like one of those things where I was like, ‘If I don’t live this dream, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.'”
It was the pageantry of the sport mixed with its athleticism that attracted her.
“I think for me it was a perfect combination of acting, athleticism and clothing, and I think it was so fascinating as a child,” she said. “Then as I got older and started having new interests, like being an athlete and doing musical theater and things like that, I felt like it was literally a perfect combination of everything I loved. So, it was like, like I said, an amazing, larger-than-life show, that I felt like I had to be a part of. But again, it’s deeper than that.
“We’re wrestling fans, it’s just the stories and being connected to these people and wanting to be like these people and believing that, hey, I can do this too. I think for me growing up, it was a matter of seeing someone like Lita jump on the scene and this beautiful girl and do all these crazy things, it just made me believe in myself that I could do it too.”

On Saturday, he said fans attending ACW Independence Day will enjoy a unique experience that no other independent promotion has to offer.
“ACW is one of the hottest things out there right now,” he told Pak Gazette Digital. “It’s literally one of the biggest independent companies right now. There’s everything. First of all, it’s in a historic building. So that’s number one right there. The talent on the card is, without exception, the best in the world. I think what Vik (Dalishus) and Hale (Collins) are doing and all that, it’s really special. It’s been thriving.

“I think people have fun. Every time I go to a show, whether it’s a meet and greet or whether it’s before or after the show, everyone is very happy to be there. They’re very excited for the show. It’s very family-friendly. And it’s also for the smart marks. It’s a really great company and I don’t know any people who have had a bad time in ACW.”
