Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard the petitions seeking suspension of their sentences.
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday reserved its decision on the maintainability of the stay of sentence petitions filed by lawyer Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chattha in the controversial tweets case.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard the petitions seeking suspension of their sentences.
During the hearing, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) raised objections to the maintainability of the applications, arguing that the petitions had been filed prematurely. Counsel for the NCCIA submitted that the pleas for suspension of sentence were not maintainable at this stage.
