A charity tennis match in the Vatican would have a small guest list, but would not even include the best male player in the world.
Pope Leo XIV recently said that he was considered “an amateur tennis player”, but a remarkable name in this hypothetical match would be omitted.
During a meeting between the new American Pope and international media on Monday, journalists offered to play doubles or organize a charity.

The Pope is all for that, but the best classified player would be expelled for his own fault: his last name.

Sinner has won three Grand Slams, all of which have come from the Australia Open of 2024, and has quickly become the best player on the planet.
At 23, Sinner has shot down the world ranking and has won consecutive Grand Slams.
But it does not seem to visit Pope Leo XIV in the short term.

In defense of the Pope, he has a decent excuse halfway to exclude Sinner.
In February, the World Anti -Doping Agency (AMA) gave it a suspension of three months after twice positive for an anabolic steroid forbidden almost a year ago.
The prohibition occurred only weeks after the Italian tennis professional won his third Grand Slam title, however, the suspension avoided any Grand Slams.
It was discovered that Sinner had not intentionally used a prohibited substance For competitive gain.
Sinner gave positive for low levels of clostebol metabolite, a prohibited anabolic steroid that can be used for ophthalmological and dermatological use, in March 2024. Eight days after the Indian well tournament, Sinner tested positive again in a sample out of competition.
According to the initial findings of the ITIA, Sinner explained that he had positive after receiving a massage from a coach who had used a free sale spray containing closstebole to treat a small wound after cutting his own finger.

The Sinner suspension was raised on May 4, and is currently playing in his country of origin in the Open of Italy. He will be searching for his room Grand Slam when the France Open begins on May 25.
