This is excellent news in my opinion, as the Switch 2 has been seriously in need of more quality racing games.
Sure, you have the excellent Mario Kart World (not to mention Kirby’s Air Riders), but if you want something a little more realistic, your only real option so far has been Grid Legends: Definitive Editionwhich focuses solely on track racing.
The Crew Motor Festival is a proper AAA open-world experience that lets you drive anywhere in hundreds of officially licensed cars, plus a handful of planes and ships when you want to spice things up.
It’s set in a massive recreation of Hawaii, with plenty of real-world cities and landmarks represented, amidst the celebration of a huge international car festival. Yes, it is a very similar premise to the Force Horizon games, but is that really such a bad thing?
It is a proven formula and, without a word Forza Horizon 6 Nintendo Switch 2 port yet, I think The Crew Motor Festival It will fill a very important niche.
The port will arrive on October 8, with a physical retail version planned alongside a digital release.
