Billie Eilish takes new hit amid hype over ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ tour film

Billie Eilish comes under fire on social media as concert film continues to gain success

Billie Eilish has landed in hot waters for her recent claims amid the success of her recently released concert film, Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D).

The 24-year-old musician recently spoke out about her stance on meat consumption and harshly criticized people who eat meat, but the comments sparked a huge backlash.

“They won’t like me for this… Eating meat is inherently bad. Two things can’t coincide. ‘I love animals, I love all animals so much’ and ‘I eat meat,'” the Grammy winner said.

Social media was flooded with comments, calling Eilish a “hypocrite” and criticizing her double standards for judging her.

“I love her but she’s a bit hypocritical and I also feel like this is a very privileged take lol,” one social media sleuth wrote on X.

Another added: “This is a very privileged position. The body functions better when we eat meat. If we cut it out we would need to take a lot of supplements and that’s not feasible for most. I’m sure if we didn’t need to eat it in general for better health then we wouldn’t do it.”

A third chimed in to say: “How privileged and judgmental haha” and “I’m crying Billie Eilish did a grwm and almost every makeup brand she uses is tested on animals.”

This comes just after Eilish marked several milestones with her concert film, including a 99% Rotten Tomatoes score.
